Decisions That Deserve Time

A major transition often arrives with deadlines, paperwork, and advice from every direction. Our first role is to slow the process down: to separate what must be decided now from what can wait, so each decision is made with the full picture in view.

The Transitions We Help With

  • Retiring

I have saved for decades. I am not sure how to turn it into income.

We help you choose a retirement date, decide when to claim Social Security, evaluate pension and rollover choices, and plan your first years of income and taxes.

  • Selling a Business

Most of what I have built is in the business. I want to get the sale right.

We work with your CPA and attorney before the sale to plan for taxes on the proceeds, then help you replace the income the business provided and diversify what you receive.

  • Receiving an Inheritance

I want to honor what was left to me and use it wisely.

We explain the rules and timelines for inherited accounts, plan for the taxes involved, and show how the inheritance fits your own plan, without rushing any decision.

  • Losing a Spouse

I am handling this on my own for the first time.

We help you organize accounts and benefits, confirm your income as a survivor, and update beneficiaries and estate documents, at a pace that suits you.

  • Divorce

I need to understand what my finances look like on my own.

We help you understand how assets and retirement accounts are divided, rebuild your income plan, and update the documents that name who inherits.

How We Work Through a Transition

  1. Step 1

    Organize

We gather your accounts, documents, and deadlines into one clear picture.

  2. Step 2

    Prioritize

We separate the decisions that are time-sensitive from those that are not.

  3. Step 3

    Plan

We bring the transition into your long-term plan, coordinating with your CPA and attorney.

Frequently Asked Questions

We believe confidence comes from clarity. Here are the questions clients ask most before starting their wealth journey with us.

Have Questions?
Should we wait until things settle before meeting?

It is usually better to talk early. Some decisions carry deadlines, and others are easier when they are planned before an event rather than after it. An early conversation does not commit you to anything.

Do you work with my CPA and attorney?

Yes. Transitions usually involve tax and legal questions, and the plan is stronger when those professionals are coordinated.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

Nothing formal is required. A general sense of what has changed and what concerns you most is enough to begin.

What is the minimum to become a client?

Most of our clients have $500,000 or more in investable assets. That lets us give each relationship the depth of planning and personal attention it deserves. If you are not sure whether we are the right fit, start a conversation anyway.

You Do Not Have to Sort This Out Alone

A short conversation is the first step. We will listen, answer your questions, and help you see what needs attention first.
